Tokoro, Mighty Mo Dominate Hero's '07 Nagoya
NAGOYA, March 12, 2007 -- Middleweight Japanese mixed martial arts sensation Hideo Tokoro confirmed his status as an elite Hero's fighter by submitting Kazuya Yasuhiro in the Main Event tonight at the Hero's 2007 in Nagoya. In other action, K-1 star Mighty Mo destroyed Min So Kim, and 38 year-old Sakuraba showed he still has what it takes by dispatching challenger Yuri "Playboy" Kyselov.

NAGOYA, March 11, 2007 -- It was just two years ago that K-1's governing body the Fight Entertainment Group (FEG) organized its first Hero's event at the Saitama Arena. Now, the hugely successful mixed martial arts fight presentation is going global. In a press conference today at the Westin Nagoya Castle Hotel, Hero's supervisor Akira Maeda and FEG Event Producer Sadaharu Tanikawa promised a "surprising announcement" on Hero's and the United States within weeks. Also upcoming is Maeda's first child (a boy) and tomorrow's Hero's in Nagoya -- the fightsport's first event of the year.

Yokohama, March 4, 2007 -- Defending K-1 World Grand Prix Champion Semmy Schilt of Holland KO'd veteran slugger Ray Sefo of New Zealand tonight to become the first fighter to wear the new K-1 Super Heavyweight Title Belt. Schilt further distinguished himself as the first K-1 fighter to ever knock Sefo out.
